A Tale of Two Botanists

Rupert Barneby and Dwight Ripley

Prof. Scott Rawlins will present A Tale of Two Botanists at our April meeting. He will offer us a look at the lives and work of two British botanists who conducted the first comprehensive survey of Southwestern U.S. flora. Rupert Barneby and Dwight Ripley were partners in life as well as work for 50 years. Their circle of acquaintances in England included the well-known Auden, Spender, and Isherwood. Everyone is welcome to join us for this presentation. Details are in the Meetings tab above.
